Our Journey Towards a Greener Plate and Our Commitment to Sustainability:
We’re Committed about creating delicious ingredients, but we also know that our responsibility goes beyond just taste. We believe that what we do today impacts the world we live in tomorrow. We want to make sure we’re doing our part to protect the environment and support the communities we work with.
So, how are we doing it?
- Saving Energy and Water
Food manufacturing requires energy and water, but we’re finding ways to use less of both.

Solar panels
Currently, 60% of the energy we use (1100 kw) is provided by photovoltaic panels. We have set a goal to continue to invest in this policy in the next 2 years, thus covering all the energy consumption from sourcing photovoltaic panels.

New technology
We have invested in re-engineering with new and high-performance technology, managing to achieve low energy consumption.
Clean water
Our Headquarter is a #plasticfreezone equipped with BWT water dispensers, that filter and enrich water directly from the source with Mg, Zn, Si.
We encourage the consumption of water from local sources (water supply system, wells), which we can bring to safe consumption standards by means of BWT equipment or thus
No packaging required (no plastic bottles), No transport required = low CO2 footprint.
- Smarter Packaging:
New packaging solutions

We are investing in new production lines that will allow our products to be packaged in recyclable packaging (bulk IBC or metal barrels) so that we are gradually reducing plastic cans and buckets use (200 kg Barrels -400 & 800 kg IBC). We’re on a journey to find the best solutions that keep your ingredients fresh while also reducing our impact on the environment.

It all starts with our ingredients. We’re working closely with our suppliers to ensure we’re getting the best quality ingredients while also prioritizing sustainable farming practices.

Delivery Optimization
Delivering by our own fleet, we are commited to ensure the delivery of products in a responsible way, optimizing all delivery routes to be as short as possible. We are constantly monitoring and modifying both national and international deliveries,

Fully committed to Education and Research
By collaborating with the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Food Industry, and Environmental Protection in Sibiu, we successfully provide students with annual practice sessions, thereby enhancing their employment prospects within our company.
We are All in for Stronger Communities
Sustainability is also about people. We’re proud to support local communities by creating jobs as we act as a Responsible Business for the Community. Through our ongoing projects with social value, we consistently run two programs:
SOS Cisnădie Children’s Village and Sibiu Red Cross
Our CSR initiatives involve active participation from our company’s employees, who serve as ambassadors for the organizational values we promote.
It’s all about the #EFITeam in Sport activities
In the last three years, we sponsored Sibiu Cycling Tour an international event, also starting in 2021, we established ourselves as a longstanding sponsor of the Sibiu Open Tennis Tour ever since.
In 2023, a team of 20 passionate colleagues joined a cause of significant importance by participating in a Marathon. The aim was to contribute to the establishment of a playground for the children of a nearby village in Sibiu County.
